Pico del Inglés
First obligatory stop in Anaga, a road with several paths nearby. The best idea would be to have breakfast in the lagoon before going up to Anaga.
Sendero en Anaga
Anaga is full of trails, from easy to difficult, is a mountain full of magic that catches you at every step.
Most of the trails in Anaga start from Cruz del Carmen, there is free parking and all the trails are signposted

La Playa de Benijo
Our favourite beach, Benijo. The best beach on the island, it is our favourite place, the sunset with the reflection of the sun on the sand is something of a film.
The Teno Lighthouse
Teno, its lighthouse and its incredible puddles. Teno is an incredible place, there are limited hours to get in and out. There are two ways to get in, by bus (every 1h) or by car before 9:00 and after 19:00. There is a beach and some little pools perfect for a morning swim.
A tour of the Teide National Park. The Teide National Park is simply a show, a change of scenery that will surprise you, it is full of incredible roadside spots, the best thing you can do is enjoy a sunset there, the colours are beautiful.
The Milky Way
The sky that will surprise you. Staying at night on the Teide until the stars come out is something you have to experience, the sky is very unpolluted and the stars are incredible, it is important to go up warm and with good provisions so as not to go hungry.
Before you travel
- Breakfast at La Laguna in Makika, cheap, healthy and very good. The best thing would be to buy some food to spend the day in Anaga. The mountain is very humid and the temperature usually varies a lot, it is important to take a coat.
- On the Teide there are not many options for eating so the ideal would be to prepare a picnic to eat upstairs and have provisions for the night.
- Buy travel insurance. For most people, this is really only necessary if you are traveling outside of your home country.
