The perfect weekend in Paris: The most emblematic spots
While there is more to see in France than just Paris, it’s still the capital and an absolute must-visit! For a first-time visitor, a trip of three days is the perfect time to get a good sample of what this city has to offer. Crossing bridges, getting lost in the narrow streets with typical architecture, getting cultured in the very touristic places, it has something for everyone and that’s what I like most about the capital of France. There are hundreds of things to see in the city of lights, but these three days will make you fall under its charm.

Before you travel
- Equipment: If you would like to visit Eiffel Tower, the Louvre museum or to attend any tourist monument book the ticket in advance. It will save you so much time waiting in the queue to buy your tickets!
- Food: Paris is also famous for its boulangeries, the bakeries! I suggest you try the classic ‘baguette’, ‘croissant’ and the ‘pain au chocolate, that last one is my favorite!
- Transportation: If you are planning to stay for several days it is a good idea to buy a Navigo Découverte pass. This is a magnetic card that allows you to use unlimited transport in the Paris region. You can buy it in any metro station or Navigo agency in town, it costs only 5€ and you can buy any package you like.
